grocery store, Hawks Cay marina offers shore power, freshwater
hook-ups, cable television, phone service, fuel, showers,
and laundry facilities.
Accommodating
vessels up to 110 feet long with a five-foot draft, the
marina offers a variety of water sports, fishing/snorkeling/diving
charters and powerboat rentals. Marina guests also
have access to all of the resort's restaurants and amenities.

| The
marina is located at Duck Key on Hawk Channel. If you are following
Hawk Channel from Miami, at Marker 44, head approximately 255
degrees for eight statute miles. This will bring you to the eight
privately maintained entrance markers located on the south center
of Duck Key, ocean side. If you are coming from Key West, come
to Marker 45 and head approximately 30 degrees to the eight entrance
markers.
The latitude/longitude for our channel entrance is 24 45 48
/ 80 54
40. The TD numbers for our channel entrance are 14049.7 / 43385.9.
When approaching the marina
from Florida Bay or the ICW, cross to Hawk Channel at Channel
Five Bridge, between Lower Matecumbe Key and Long Key.
Once you have cleared the bridge, come to Hawk Channel Marker
44 and proceed as above.

The
channel leading to the Marina Basin
is protected by a breakwater
that circles the south and east sides of Duck Key. After you clear
the eight entrance markers, turn starboard into the deep water
channel, keeping the breakwater to starboard and the homes to
port. Proceed straight ahead into the Marina Basin. The Marina
Basin has stationary wooden and concrete docks with finger piers
and tie-off pilings. The marina can accommodate vessels up to
110 feet with a 5 foot draft.
There is some current in
these basins so be careful when docking. The tidal range is
approximately 1 1/2 feet. At the entrance markers, contact the
marina office on VHF 16 for docking assignment, instruction
and assistance. The marina store is open daily.
